Maths Tutor (Trainee) # In-house Traineeships - 6 Months
We are looking for suitable candidates for the position of Maths Tutor (Trainee) under the the company's in-house traineeship programme.
1. Traineeship Description
This is a position for motivated fresh graduates who are passionate about teaching and growing an education business.
This position reports to the Chief Trainer and interfaces with both the teaching and administrative staff at Maths Accelerator Centre (MAC).

2. Specific Responsibilities
The trainees will gain exposure to the following functional areas:
1. Teaching and Curriculum Development
2. Parents Outreach Programme Development
Trainee’s specific responsibilities is to :
1. Develop curriculum resources
2. Deliver training programmes
3. Develop Parents Outreach programmes
3. Competencies
Trainee will learn the following during the Traineeship Programme:
1. Curriculum Planning - to develop effective learning activities to enhance students' learning.
2. Training Programmes Development - to design and implement programmes that meets the learning needs of students.
3. Presentation skills - to engage parents and students in the company's outreach programme.
4. Business planning - to develop marketing plans that meets the company's business objectives.
4. Traineeship Duration / Working Hours
6 months
Working Hours
- Wed - Fri : 1.30pm - 9.30pm
- Sat-Sun : 9am - 6pm
- Mon - Tue : Rest Day
5. Training Allowance (monthly)
• Fresh University Graduates - $ 2500
• Fresh Polytecnics Graduates - $ 2000
• Mid-Career Individuals - $ 2000 - $2500 (based on experience)
6. Education Qualifications
This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals.
Fresh Graduates
a) Graduated in calendar years 2019 to 2021 from ITE, Polytechnics, Universities, or other educational institutions (Eg., private universities and overseas institutions); or
b) Graduated from the mentioned institutions and completed National Services between 2019 to2021.
c) Graduates interested in this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in related disciplines and preferable with one or more of the following traits.

• Social Media Savvy
• Willingness to learn
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in tutoring primary and secondary school students in mathematics.
Mid-Career Individual
The programme is open to all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
